Although it now plays a vital role in most businesses and represents a huge driver for future growth, 'Business Technology’ can too often be regarded as the domain of IT departments and dedicated ICT professionals – with most events tailored specifically to this audience – but many SMEs don’t have the luxury of a dedicated IT department.
This is why we are pleased to include the new BizTech LIVE feature as a core component of the Kent Vision LIVE portfolio, to meet the growing need for information and advice about the key technologies, tools and techniques that can help SMEs to innovate and grow.
Running within Kent Vision LIVE in May, BizTech LIVE is designed to help business owners and IT decision-makers to understand key technologies, identify the ones that will deliver the quickest benefits and ensure they are used to maximum effect. This innovative initiative is organised in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and specialist technology advisors Intelligent Linking Ltd.
BizTech LIVE centres on a full day’s schedule of free briefings and workshops, complemented by a focused exhibition area and one-to-one advice from consultants that specialise in helping SMEs to adopt new technologies.
In the morning, a series of 30-minute ‘orientation’ sessions (BizTech Primers) will provide a clear overview of the technology landscape and use simple diagnostics to identify which areas your business should be exploring further.
You can then explore these further by attending relevant BizTech Workshops on key technologies such as:
- Broadband & Access
- Cloud Computing
- Big Data
- Customer Relationship Management
- eCommerce / Digital Money
- Future Technology for Marketing
- Internet of Things
- Artificial Intelligence for Business
