Mark Lumsdon-Taylor attended Greshams School followed by Keele University, reading law and economics. After working for a leading London accountancy firm, Mark joined Hadlow College in 2002 with an initial brief to design and implement fiscal recovery and effect change within central services. He was formally appointed to the senior management team in 2003 with responsibility for finance and commercial operations and appointed Director of Finance & Resources in 2004. July 2016 saw him promoted to Deputy Group Principal and Deputy CEO.
Mark has been instrumental in building Hadlow College into a national brand for land-based education and rural sector business services. Under Mark’s financial steerage, Hadlow has grown from an organisation with £3m turnover into an innovative £52m educational group.
Mark was awarded Accountancy Age UK Finance Director of the Year (Public Sector) in 2007. The Hadlow Group was named Top Public Sector Company at the recent Institute for Turnaround Awards.
