Chris Seamark

Sustainable Business Programme Manager


Chris works in the Sustainable Business and Communities Team at Kent County Council which delivers multiple projects across Kent for adaptation and mitigation measures working with public, private and voluntary sectors. The key focus of Chris’s role since joining KCC in 2014 has been the successful delivery of a range of EU funded projects and business support programmes which aim to increase the demand for low carbon technology, increase efficiency and grow businesses in the low carbon and environmental goods and services (LCEGS) sector. Previous to KCC, Chris has worked for a number of charitable, public and private sector organisations across the UK delivering national and European funded business support programmes.

LoCASE funding – Up to £10,000 in Grants Available to SMEs

Keynote Theatre/ Astor Pavillion: 12.00pm - 12.30pm

Kent County Council has grants of up to £10,000 available through the LoCASE project. Business development or energy efficiency measures can be covered depending on the stream chosen and business eligibility. All SMEs in the South East (excluding London) are potentially eligible.
